The Drapery Lady offers custom designed and hand-sewn fabric drapes, shades, blinds bedding and more for homes in the North Shore and surrounding areas of Melrose, MA. Owner and operator, Susan Tata will work closely with interior designers and home owners to meet all of their design goals. Our commitment to dress making details and delicate hand sewing techniques are what make every item a one of a kind masterpiece.

Susan has a passion for design and enjoys creating unique window treatments for her designer clients as well as individual clients. Susan enjoys working with people and forms personal relationships with her designers which last a lifetime. Her designers say "She gets into their heads and read their minds, and therefore she knows just what they are looking for."

The Drapery Lady also does work with retail clients. For a fee she will do an 'in-home' consult and help you to find the ideal window coverings for your home.
